Primary sources

Licensing information comes from the official attorney-licensing authority for each supported jurisdiction. New York records come from the New York State Unified Court System’s public attorney-registration dataset.

Publication rules

• An official jurisdiction and registration number are required.
• The original authority’s status wording is preserved.
• Only the exact New York status “Currently registered” is published automatically.
• Other statuses are held from public display pending definition and legal review.
• Office and organization information may be incomplete or out of date.

What the directory does not claim

Listing does not mean recommendation, specialization, availability or good performance. The directory does not publish ratings, win rates, “best lawyer” rankings or predictions. Court appearances, if added later, will not be treated as licensing evidence or proof of case outcomes.

Updates and corrections

Profiles show the date their source record was checked. Visitors can request review from each profile. Corrections are checked against the responsible authority; the official record controls where sources conflict.
